Detrailers Member Registered: 07/25/10 Posts: 494 Loc: corinth texas	When I did my trailer harness the instructions were pretty terrible so I went on YouTube and there is a company that posts vids of step by step wiring for our cars and many others. From what I understood Is that is is bad to wire right into our elec system and you need the trailer light converter module which soumds like you have coming. Had to swap wiring harness and latch as well. And still need to rivet in Lock. New lid off a 2000 Monkey Old lid with three antenna holes Swapped _________________________

So the car has to be in "auto lights" mode. Happy to have headlights though.
